ATEN Korea Announces 4K Modular Matrix Switch VM3200

ATEN Korea announced the launch of the VM3200 Matrix Switch, a solution capable of connecting up to 32 video sources to 32 displays in environments where video processing is critical, such as broadcasting stations, traffic/transport, control, and CCTV.
ATEN’s VM3200 features ATEN’s unique modular design, allowing the system to be optimized for various video environments and transmit video sources up to 4K resolution without signal loss. It is characterized by the highest performance and expandability currently available, including a built-in seamless switch that enables fast screen transitions, allowing video and audio signals to be switched and sent independently to monitors, displays, and projectors without interruption, and even an option for EDID mode that can produce the best resolution for different monitors.
In particular, thanks to its modular design, the ATEN VM3200 allows all options to be implemented via a hot-swap method, enabling the quick and easy addition or expansion of various equipment in actual use cases. No separate tools are required to add I/O boards, and product maintenance is also easy, which ultimately leads to cost savings.
Additionally, it supports automatic signal conversion to ensure various combinations of digital video interfaces including HDBaseT (VM7514 / VM8514), HDMI (VM7804 / VM8804), DVI (VM7604 / VM8604), 3G-SDI (VM7404), and VGA (VM7104), and the main usage environments are fields requiring high-speed A/V signal routing, such as broadcasting stations, traffic/transport control rooms, and emergency service centers.
Users can directly and independently switch and send video and audio content to various monitors, displays, projectors, and speakers using the system's front push buttons. In addition, system management is supported via RS-232, RS-485/422, and Ethernet (Telnet/Web GUI) connections.
In addition, one of the key features improved for administrator convenience in the VM3200 is screen streaming support, which allows video from connected local sources to be previewed in the web GUI. Furthermore, even the internal fan and power supply are designed as hot-pluggable modular components, enabling maintenance to be completed without interrupting the power even while the system is running.

ATEN Multicast HDMI Extender with Wireless Connection to Up to 4 Locations
Aten Korea announced the launch of the VE849, an extender capable of wirelessly transmitting display signals input via up to 5 HDMI interfaces. When purchasing the wireless extender VE849, users can use the included IR remote control to remotely switch between input HDMI sources without directly operating the terminal device, and can simultaneously view 1 local and up to 4 HDTVs connected wirelessly. Users can wirelessly transmit video content with 1,080p resolution as well as 5.1 channel Dolby Digital audio and 3D technology within a 30-meter radius of wireless coverage, which also reduces additional costs associated with installation. For example, unlike wired extenders, there is no inconvenience in cable management, and at the same time, additional maintenance costs resulting from line breaks or line damage can be reduced.

ATEN Korea Sets Up PRO AV Experience Zone at COBA 2017 Exhibition
Aten Korea participated in KOBA 2017 and established an experience space for its PRO AV solutions. The company introduces Aten PRO AV solutions that can be deployed in environments where video transmission and audio manipulation must occur simultaneously, such as presentation rooms, digital classrooms, and video conference rooms required for corporate business operations. Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
Databricks entered the security market on March 24 by unveiling LakeWatch, an open-source agentic SIEM. The core functionality of this product is to integrate and analyze security, IT, and business data in a single environment to support AI-based threat detection and investigation. The company explained that it reduces the limitations of existing security operations centers, which have had to forgo some data due to high cost structures, and enables large-scale data analysis and automation based on open formats and ecosystems.
