Dassault Systèmes Expands 3DEXPERIENCE Labs Globally

Dassault Systèmes Korea announced that it will open its third 3DEXPERIENCE LAB in Korea, which supports the development of startups with the potential to innovatively change society.
The 3D Experience Lab, which first opened in Europe in November 2015, is a startup incubation support program that aims to establish a new foundation for "open innovation" to foster entrepreneurship and strengthen the creative innovation capacity of future society. The 3D Experience Lab has already garnered attention from various industries, winning awards at CES for successfully supporting projects that harmonize products, nature, and life, such as large-scale additive construction using robots, 3D printing of personalized organs for surgical simulation, development of an open-source drone with the performance of both helicopters and airplanes, and upstream innovation through sketching in immersive virtual reality.
The 3DEXPERIENCE Lab provides young entrepreneurs and startups with the opportunity to experience virtual collaborative operations and related expertise that enable innovation across product design, manufacturing, and support stages, helping them optimize and validate products and processes in a more efficient manner. Dassault Systèmes expects that the opening of the 3DEXPERIENCE Lab in Korea will contribute to the discovery and development of promising domestic startups, as well as to the promotion of innovation and economic revitalization by bolstering the domestic startup ecosystem.
The 3DEXPERIENCE LAB, scheduled to open on May 31st, will be located in the Innodesign Building in Yeoksam-dong, Seoul. Since 2016, Dassault Systèmes and Innodesign have been collaborating through the design accelerator "DXL Lab" project to foster the next generation of global designers and support small and medium-sized venture companies. Furthermore, through the "Design 2020" project, which allows emerging designers to learn and experience digital processes throughout the prototyping stage, participating designers' results and winning designs are showcased, and investment support for designers is provided.
“Through the opening of the 3DEXPERIENCE Lab in Korea, we will actively support entrepreneurs, manufacturers, and startups around the world to carry out projects that can bring about disruptive innovation, maximize the use of collective intelligence, and further positively impact society by providing unique and diverse technologies and human resources,” said Youngbin Cho, CEO of Dassault Systèmes.
Innodesign founder and CEO Kim Young-se said, “With the launch of this 3D Experience Lab, we have been able to strengthen the vision of ‘Design Together’ that we announced when we founded DXL Lab. “We are delighted to be working with Dassault Systèmes, a global 3D solutions company, to create a platform that will enable outstanding designers and startups to realize their imaginations,” he said.
Meanwhile, in connection with the opening of the 3DEXPERIENCE Lab, Dassault Systèmes is signing an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with the Seoul Metropolitan Government to successfully prepare for the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution and to promote and support innovation for entrepreneurs. Dassault Systèmes and the Seoul Metropolitan Government will cooperate in various fields, including ▲supporting the entrepreneurial activities of venture entrepreneurs, startups, and manufacturers, ▲creating a 4th Industrial Revolution ecosystem by fostering next-generation industry experts in 3D modeling and simulation and supporting a software environment for startups and small and medium-sized enterprises, ▲supporting innovation in startups that lead social change in sustainable cities, health/bio, and robots, ▲4. joint research on digital transformation and industrial development of traditional industries based on 3D modeling and simulation, and ▲internal and external promotional activities, to support domestic startup companies to realize their creative ideas.

Dassault Systèmes Presents 3DEXPERIENCE Applications at Hanover Fair
Dassault Systèmes will participate in the Hannover Industrial Expo for five days from April 24-28. The company plans to showcase how the 3D Experience platform connects departments on a digital basis and supports the creation of added value. The case studies will feature engineering company Bosch Rexroth and consumer goods packaging specialist Westrock. Rexroth performs system engineering by linking equipment programming languages with virtual models on Dassault Systèmes' 3D Experience platform. Through the application interface, developers can configure and test software, electronic circuits, and devices. Even after construction is complete, if modifications are needed, the virtual commissioning function can reduce nonproductive modification periods. Additionally, the early error detection function significantly reduces the possibility of rework. Visitors will be able to experience part of an operating factory environment through augmented reality demonstrations, seeing how maintenance processes are conducted and managed in actual production. Westrock allows visitors to experience a completely integrated and digitalized value creation process spanning the entire journey from reflecting customer requirements to shelf display at customer-facing stores. In fact, Westrock has reduced its packaging material development time from 18 months to 6 months. According to Dassault Systèmes representatives, platform adoption has enabled more systematic insight into the overall business process, making it possible not only to optimize production but also to respond quickly and flexibly to market trends.

Dassault Systèmes accelerates product development with P&G's consumer goods solutions.
Dassault Systèmes Korea announced that P&G, one of the world's largest global consumer goods companies, has adopted the 3D Experience Platform-based specialized solution for the consumer packaged goods industry. P&G, a long-standing customer of Dassault Systèmes that has been using design, development, and simulation applications, has upgraded to "Perfect Product" and "Perfect Package," specialized solutions for the packaged consumer goods industry on the 3D Experience Platform, enabling users to integrate data and connect with collaborating colleagues and customers. The Dassault Systèmes 3D Experience Platform supports P&G in realizing faster innovation, efficiently managing product production programs, and accelerating them in the demanding consumer goods market characterized by short product lifecycles, volatile raw material prices, and diverse customer requirements.

SalePoint Signs Multi-Year Partnership Agreement with AWS… Promoting Identity Security that Integrates Even AI Agents
Sailpoint has entered into a multi-year strategic partnership agreement with AWS and is moving forward with establishing an integrated governance system that manages both human and non-human identities together. Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
Databricks entered the security market on March 24 by unveiling LakeWatch, an open-source agentic SIEM. The core functionality of this product is to integrate and analyze security, IT, and business data in a single environment to support AI-based threat detection and investigation. The company explained that it reduces the limitations of existing security operations centers, which have had to forgo some data due to high cost structures, and enables large-scale data analysis and automation based on open formats and ecosystems. LakeWatch is currently offered as a private preview, with Adobe and Dropbox mentioned as early customers. Databricks also announced an expanded partnership with Anthropic as well as the acquisition of Antimatter and SiftD.ai.
