LG Electronics will launch the LG X500 (319,000 won), a budget smartphone boasting the largest battery capacity ever among smartphones released in Korea, through the three mobile carriers on the 9th.

The LG X500 is a product exclusive to the Korean market that adds HD DMB, which offers 12 times better picture quality than standard DMB, and features 32GB of storage capacity to the global model LG X Power 2, which was first unveiled at MWC 2017 earlier this year and received favorable reviews.

This product is equipped with a large-capacity 4,500mAh battery that allows for up to two days of use on a single charge. It can play videos continuously for about 20 hours and browse the internet continuously for about 20 hours on a single charge.

It features fast charging that is twice as fast as standard charging, allowing the battery to be charged to 50% in about one hour. The display screen is 5.5 inches.

The LG X500 is equipped with a 5-megapixel wide-angle front camera that allows users to take group selfies without a selfie stick. It also features an LED flash on the front to capture bright and clear selfies in dark environments. The 13-megapixel high-definition rear camera features 'Zero Shutter Lag,' which allows shooting to occur the moment the button is pressed.
