LG Electronics installed the 'LG SIGNATURE OLED TV W' in the lobbies of luxury hotels and resorts, including the 'Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul' located in Namsan, Seoul, and the 'Southcape Spa & Suite' located in Namhae, Gyeongsangnam-do.
LG Electronics is playing content such as commercials for the 'LG SIGNATURE OLED TV W,' HDR (High Dynamic Range) videos, and immersive Dolby Atmos sound. This allows visitors to experience the unparalleled picture and sound quality of the 'LG SIGNATURE OLED TV W.'
Located on Namsan Mountain in Seoul, 'Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul' is the Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts Group's first urban resort. Situated on a 70,000-square-meter site, it is equipped with various leisure and entertainment facilities. It is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and enjoy complete relaxation without interruption.
Southcape Spa & Suites is a luxury resort featuring a golf course. This golf course was the only one in Korea selected as one of the world's top 100 golf courses by 'Top 100 Golf Courses,' a global golf course website. It is famous for its golf course and architecture that highlight the curved beauty along the coastline. It is also the location where the TV commercial for the 'LG Signature OLED TV W' was filmed.

LG Electronics Launches Power Phone Capable of Watching DMB for Two Days on a Single Charge
LG Electronics is launching the LG X500 (319,000 won), a value-oriented smartphone featuring the largest battery capacity of any domestically released smartphone to date, through all three mobile carriers on the 9th. The LG X500 is a Korea-exclusive product based on the globally acclaimed LG X Power2, which was first unveiled at MWC 2017 held in early this year. It adds HD DMB with 12 times better picture quality compared to standard DMB and features 32GB of storage capacity. The device is equipped with a large-capacity 4,500mAh battery that enables up to two days of use on a single charge. It can continuously play video for approximately 20 hours on one charge, and internet browsing is possible for approximately 20 hours of continuous use. With fast charging that is twice as quick as conventional charging, the battery can be charged to 50% in approximately one hour. The display screen measures 5.5 inches. The LG X500 features a 5-megapixel front wide-angle camera that enables group selfies without requiring a selfie stick. Additionally, an LED flash is mounted on the front to enable bright and clear selfies in low-light conditions. The 13-megapixel rear camera with high image quality has zero shutter lag applied, allowing photography to be captured simultaneously with button press. Lee Sang-kyu, Senior Executive of LG Electronics' Korea Mobile Group, stated, "This will be a suitable phone for consumers who want to work on smartphones for extended periods or enjoy content without worrying about battery life, and LG Electronics will continue to introduce value-oriented lineups."

LG Electronics Launches Ultra-High-Definition Monitor Compatible with MacBooks
LG Electronics is launching an ultra-high-resolution monitor for MacBook Pro and MacBook users in the domestic market this week. The 27-inch LG UltraFineTM 5K monitor (model: 27MD5K) has been sequentially launched globally starting with the United States in November of last year. The ultra-high-resolution monitor market with resolution of 4K and above grew approximately 70% globally last year, exceeding 1 million units. LG Electronics plans to expand its leadership in the rapidly growing premium market by launching the new product domestically as well. With a 5K (5,120x2,880) display applied, the resolution is more than 7 times higher than Full HD (1,920x1,080). The pixel count alone exceeds 14 million. This product is optimal for displaying 5K content. A Thunderbolt3 connector with a maximum video transmission speed of 40 gigabits per second (Gbps) has been applied. The transmission speed is approximately 4 times faster than the latest USB 3.1 connector, enabling 4K quality video to be transmitted in just 30 seconds. Large-capacity 5K video is displayed without any loss. Previously, if users wanted to view 5K video without using the Thunderbolt3 connector, they had to connect two cables between the monitor and PC.
