Genie Music will expand its music service domain with AI-based innovative technology

Genie Voice serves not only as an artificial intelligence assistant that rapidly recognizes voice and plays music, but also functions as an artificial intelligence DJ that recommends music considering the user's situation and emotions.
It is more than twice as fast compared to text search and playback. The usage method is simple: update Genie Music to the latest version and activate the Genie Voice function in the Genie Lab menu. The floating player is a mini-player that keeps the same screen displayed at all times even when users run other apps on their smartphone, and was developed for smartphone users enjoying multiplayer functionality. To enhance usage convenience, it provides voice command functionality with Genie Voice along with control functions such as play and pause, and real-time lyrics service.
Additionally, Genie Music has newly introduced music sharing functionality via iPhone iMessage to expand Genie usability for iPhone users. When Genie Music users utilize iMessage, they can search for recently listened songs or favorite songs from the Genie app and share them with their acquaintances. Even for those who are not Genie app users, recipients of music shared through iMessage can listen to the shared music directly from iMessage for one minute.

DigiEco compared artificial intelligence assistants Bixby and Siri on smartphones and predicted the future of artificial intelligence. Looking at the example of intelligent speakers, there is a high possibility of development moving toward a stage of proposing and acting autonomously rather than simply executing human commands. Artificial intelligence can be divided into weak artificial intelligence, which merely creates simple characters, and strong artificial intelligence, capable of performing unintended driving or solving quizzes without being instructed. Looking at Japan's Gate Box, it wakes users up in the morning with tone and emotion similar to humans. It greets the user first and searches for weather information in advance. And on the way to work, it proactively says things like "bring an umbrella." The emotional intelligence of AI can make users engage with such services more frequently and feel a sense similar to interacting with a real person. Additionally, within certain limitations, it becomes possible for the AI to search for and inform users of morning weather information without being commanded, or to introduce new products at shopping malls in advance. In the future, artificial intelligence could also develop in the form of being raised, similar to 'Tamagotchi.' Depending on how the user cares for it from the egg stage, the hatched organism differs, and its personality varies depending on how it is raised. DigiEco states, "Most scientists believe that strong artificial intelligence will emerge within 50 or 100 years. While artificial intelligence reaching science fiction movie levels may be a distant future, strong artificial intelligence services to be introduced through smartphones are technically feasible and are expected to be realized in the near future."
