Microsoft held the Xbox E3 2017 briefing in Los Angeles, unveiled the new Xbox One console 'Xbox One X', which boasts the most powerful performance in history, and announced a diverse lineup of 42 games, including 22 console exclusive titles.

The unveiled Xbox One X boasts the smallest size and highest performance among all Xbox consoles to date. Equipped with a 6 teraflops GPU and 12GB of memory, it delivers the ultimate gaming experience with 40% better performance than previous consoles. Additionally, it is compatible with all existing Xbox One games and accessories. The release date for the Xbox One X is November 7, and the domestic release date will be announced at a later date.

The Xbox One X provides optimal 4K entertainment as the only console that supports 4K UHD Blu-ray movies and streaming content, HDR, and premium Dolby Atmos sound.

Xbox head Phil Spencer announced, “Xbox will expand compatibility for over 400 popular Xbox 360 games, including Xbox One classics, starting with the popular game Crimson Skies.” In addition, they stated, “We will update Gears of War 4, Forza Horizon 3, Minecraft, Resident Evil 7, Final Fantasy 15, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands, Rocket League, and dozens of other popular games to be playable in 4K.”

Meanwhile, Xbox also announced 42 diverse game titles, including 22 console exclusives. It showcased a diverse lineup of games launching on Xbox One and Windows 10.

The Artful Escape Of Francis Vendetti, the first release from BEETHOVEN & DINOSAUR, has been revealed as a console exclusive title. The Artful Escape Of Francis Vendetti is a combat game where players shoot laser beams set to music. The game unfolds through famous folk singers, lingering shadows, cosmic gods, hallucinogens, quirks, reptile shops, and whimsical imaginations.

Ashen, a console-exclusive RPG, is a game that tells the story of a wanderer searching for a place to call home. The protagonist forms relationships with others in a world where there is no natural light to be found other than the light flowing from the ash-covered ground, and where nothing lasts no matter how hard one tries to hold onto it.

The MMORPG game Black Desert, featuring next-generation graphics, is being released as a console exclusive title. Black Desert is an action combat game where players travel through a world full of danger in search of treasure and adventure. Players can pioneer trade routes, raise horses, or compete against other guilds in siege battles.

Developed by Bandai Namco, Code Vein is an exploration action game that follows the journey of the Revenant as he recovers his lost memories of the past and escapes the nightmares of reality. Deep within a world devastated by a mysterious disaster, the Revenant sets out in search of blood to preserve his last vestiges of humanity.

Developed by Microsoft Studios in collaboration with Sumo Digital and Reagent Games, Crackdown 3 features a new multiplayer mode as well as a four-player cooperative mode. Terry Crews plays Commander Jaxon, and the protagonist uses superhuman abilities to stop crime amidst chaos and destruction. Crackdown 3 will be released on Xbox Play Anywhere on November 7 alongside the Xbox One X.
