National Instruments announced that it will hold the 'NI Measurement & Control Symposium 2017' on the theme of industrial IoT and big analog data utilization at the aT Center in Yangjae, Seoul on July 4 and BEXCO in Busan on July 6.

With the recent rapid advancement of IoT-based smart factories, cost reduction and productivity improvement have emerged as key challenges. Accordingly, NI plans to share various success stories and solutions through sessions, while introducing core technologies and customized solutions for implementing smart factories. Additionally, NI will unveil DAQExpress and LabVIEW NXG, measurement software showcased at 'NIWeek 2017' in Austin, USA last May, for the first time in Korea, and will conduct hands-on seminars utilizing these tools.

The sessions featuring experts will explore the latest technology trends, industrial sensor measurement and communication, and case studies of IoT system implementation. In particular, through the current status and examples of online Vibration Monitoring Systems (VMS), the sessions will explore sensor measurement applications in industrial settings, present machine control and intelligent monitoring solutions for smart factories along with domestic and international application examples, and discuss design case studies for robot controllers for production line automation. In addition, we plan to introduce ▲ an understanding of industrial communication (OPC UA, CAN) and ▲ Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) technology that ensures the real-time capabilities of industrial protocols.
