ASUS announced the launch of its thin and light portable monitor, ZenScreen MB16AC.

ASUS' ZenScreen MB16AC is a thin and light portable monitor with a thickness of 8mm, a bezel of 6.5mm, and a weight of 780g. It was designed to fit the screen configuration of a laptop and is intended to be an extension of the laptop's screen, and features a Full HD display on the 15.6-inch screen, which is the most preferred screen for laptops.

It supports both USB Type A and Type C, and can transmit power and video signals with a single USB cable. Power and video information are transmitted with a single USB Type A or C cable, with the power supply and video signal device cables being standard.

Here, the monitor panel and functions have been further enhanced for user convenience. Equipped with an IPS display panel, it supports a wide viewing angle without distortion from any angle, and with the auto-tilt function, the screen automatically rotates depending on the direction in which the monitor is placed, just like using a mobile phone.

The dedicated case can be used as a stand for the product, and the hole at the bottom can be used to adjust the angle of the monitor by inserting an ASUS-exclusive ballpoint pen or writing instrument. As for the design, it was produced with a silver-tone metallic concept that gives a thin feeling like a blade.

We also paid attention to protecting the eyesight of users who look at the monitor screen for long periods of time. In addition to the TUV certified eye protection function, it is equipped with a blue light filter function that blocks blue light and a flicker-free function that eliminates flickering to reduce eye fatigue.

ASUS Korea Manager Jeong Sang-yoon said, “As the previous model had a history of delivering 1,500 units to one of the largest accounting firms in Korea, we hope that the ZenScreen MB16AC can be utilized in various environments such as insurance, accounting, and legal sales that are faithful to customer-facing work.”
