Illisis has entered into a partnership with Hanwha Techwin's Security Business Division, a leading manufacturer in the CCTV camera field, for "strategic product development and marketing cooperation in CCTV solutions" to discover diverse business opportunities and actively pursue global new businesses.

The two companies plan to create synergy effects based on Illisis's AI video analysis technology and Hanwha Techwin's global marketing capabilities, thereby discovering diverse business opportunities and actively promoting global new businesses.

Kim Yong-sik, CEO of Illisis, stated, "Through this partnership, we have been able to concentrate R&D in the artificial intelligence (AI) field, creating an opportunity to advance to a technical level equivalent to global companies. In particular, deep learning technology has provided a starting point for entering the global market through Hanwha Techwin's H/W manufacturing technology capability and Illisis's S/W implementation technology capability."

Hanwha Techwin, a world top 5 company in the video surveillance field and holding the undisputed number one position in the domestic market, is pursuing business expansion strategies to secure a position in the global top 3 by 2020. Accordingly, Hanwha Techwin is making various attempts to strengthen home security business and integrated solution fields, transitioning from the conventional focus on B2B equipment such as cameras and storage devices.

Through this agreement, the two companies plan to lead the fourth industrial revolution by developing IoT convergence and security integrated solution platforms with AI technology applied, and will actively promote marketing to enable widespread utilization in various fields including smart cities, service industries, smart factories, and smart farms.
