ASUS is introducing a new lineup of flagship X299-based motherboards supporting Intel Core X-Series (Core Extreme processors) in Korea.

ASUS' new X299 motherboard series is designed based on the Intel X299 chipset, which fully supports Intel's Core X-series processors that were announced last May.

Intel's top-of-the-line Core Extreme processor is the first CPU to feature 18 cores and 36 threads. It quickly processes large amounts of data required for gaming, VR, and content creation, and supports quad-channel-based memory channels (DDR4). In addition, all Core Extreme series are unlocked multipliers, allowing for easy overclocking when using Asus motherboards.

ASUS has unveiled three lineups: PRIME, TUF, and ROG STRIX, which can maximize the performance of the powerful Intel Core Extreme processor series. The PRIME lineup focuses on balanced performance in various applications such as performance, stability, and tuning, and the PRIME X299-A is released first. The TUF lineup aims for high stability and durability, and the ROG STRIX lineup is optimized for extreme gaming.
