National Instruments held a measurement and control symposium on Tuesday, the 4th, and introduced key technologies and solutions for implementing smart factories. A symposium on the same topic will also be held at BEXCO in Busan on the 6th (Thu).

At the symposium, experts from various fields presented methods for collecting data without programming, application examples of intelligent monitoring solutions for smart factories, solutions for reducing manufacturing costs through big analog data management, and case studies on robot controller design for production line automation.
In addition, Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) technology was introduced to ensure real-time capabilities of industrial communication (OPC UA, CAN) and industrial protocols.

NI Demonstrates Pre-5G Waveform Measurement Technology
내쇼날인스트루먼트(이하 NI)는 미국 하와이 호놀룰루에서 열린 2017 국제 마이크로웨이브 심포지움(IMS)에서 프리-5G(Pre-5G) 웨이브폼 생성 및 측정 기술을 시연했다고 발표했다. 이번 시연의 주요 내용은 버라이즌(Verizon) 5G 기술 포럼(5GTF)과 3GPP에서 제안한 NR(New Radio) 물리층의 웨이브폼과 관련된 신호 생성 및 분석이다. 이번 기술 시연에서는 웨이브폼 변조 및 복조를 위한 프리-5G 소프트웨어와 PXIe-5840 2세대 벡터 신호 트랜시버(VST)의 1 GHz 대역폭을 결합시켰다. 웨이브폼 변조의 핵심으로는 유연한 부반송파 간격으로 DFT-S-OFDM(Discrete Fourier Transform Spread Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing)과 OFDMA(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access)를 모두 지원하는 기능과, 3GPP 5G NR 및 버라이즌 5GTF 사양을 최대 총 대역폭 1 GHz까지 지원하는 컴포넌트 캐리어 설정 기능이 있다.

NI, 까다로운 기저대역 VST 모듈 발표
내쇼날인스트루먼트(이하 NI)는 2세대 벡터 신호 트랜시버(VST)의 기저대역 모델을 발표했다. PXIe-5820 모듈은 1 GHz 복합 I/Q 대역폭을 제공하는 업계 최초의 기저대역 VST로, 가장 까다로운 RF 프런트엔드 모듈과 ET(Envelope Tracking), 디지털 전치 왜곡(Digital Pre-Distortion), 5G 테스트와 같은 트랜시버 테스트 애플리케이션을 지원하기 위해 개발되었다. NI의 RF 및 와이어리스 부사장인 찰스 슈로더(Charles Schroeder)는 “2016년 NI는 1 GHz의 순간 대역폭을 갖춘 2세대 VST의 RF 모델을 선보이면서 업계에 큰 반향을 일으켰다”고 밝히고, “NI는 2세대 VST의 기저대역 모델을 발표하면서 이러한 분위기를 계속 이어 나가는 중이다. 엔지니어는 기저대역 VST를 랩뷰 시스템 설계 소프트웨어와 함께 사용하여 트랜시버 테스트 애플리케이션의 발전하고 변화하는 요구 사항을 충족시킬 수 있다. 엔지니어는 소프트웨어로 설계된 NI VST 아키텍처의 장점을 활용하여 설계 속도를 높이고 테스트 비용을 줄이면서 기존 테스트 방식으로는 해결할 수 없었던 측정 문제들을 해결할 수 있다”고 말했다.

Ecolab and K-water Discuss Innovation Collaboration in Advanced Industry Water Management
Ecolab and the Korea Water Resources Corporation jointly discussed cooperation directions for maximizing water use efficiency in advanced industries such as semiconductors and data centers and establishing sustainable water circulation. The two companies agreed to gradually develop a long-term cooperation model that combines water resource infrastructure and water management technology to promote water efficiency optimization, water reuse, and carbon reduction.

에이지에너지가 태양광 발전예측 및 I-V커브 이상진단 기술로 중소벤처기업부 녹색기술인증을 획득했다. AI 기반 자산관리 플랫폼 솔라온케어는 전국 3,000개 이상 발전소에 적용되어 99.82%의 시스템 가동률과 3.7% 발전성능 개선을 달성했다. 실시간 데이터 분석을 통해 모듈 노화와 부분 음영 등 미세한 손실을 조기에 감지하고 관리함으로써 발전 수익을 보호한다.
