At Automotive Innovation Day 2017 held on the 5th, Licosys presented a solution that allows for the easy implementation of a differentiated GUI.
Licosys, a company specializing in graphics platforms, has dedicated itself to developing and advancing embedded graphics technology for digital devices. Its core technology has led to the commercialization of vector GUIs for IPTV, digital cameras, and digital camcorders, and its adoption as a CDMA standard solution has been recognized. Its market expansion extends from mobile to automotive applications.

TiaCore, developed by Licosys, is a graphics engine for responsive UIs. It supports 2D/3D operation with a low MIPS and is OS-independent.
Tia Studio offers intuitive vehicle GUI design. With the drop-and-draft feature, you can design vehicle-mounted features like wind direction and temperature control, reflecting the terminal environment as you arrange them. Furthermore, Recosys provides an API for 3D GUIs, which are challenging to design on embedded systems.
Users can choose between basic and sport modes. Furthermore, if the vehicle is equipped with an OBD (On-Board Drive) diagnostic system, an application is provided to check vehicle information. Vehicle information, transmission oil, CPF DPF information, and driving information can be automatically saved to the information that can be viewed on the existing instrument panel and checked through the application.

Tektronix Increases Scope Channels and Improves Accuracy for Integrated Testing
개발 분야의 경계선이 허물어지고 있다. 각 분야의 개발이 이뤄져도 테스트는 통합된 형태로 이뤄진다. 스마트폰은 물론이고 자동차를 예로 들면 모터제어, 인버터 설계, 전자장치, 전원 공급 장치, 전력변환 분석까지 범용적으로 스코프가 지원하는 4개의 채널보다 많은 채널이 필요하다. 아날로그와 디지털의 경계는 또 어떤가. 텍트로닉스가 엔지니어들에게 해결책을 제안했다. 텍트로닉스가 7일(수) 그랜드인터콘티넨탈에서 간담회를 열고 신제품 5시리즈 MSO 혼합 신호 오실로스코프를 발표했다. 티저 영상에는 MSO 5시리즈를 체험한 엔지니어의 영상이 공개됐다. “화면이 크고 두께가 얇다”,”색이 예쁘다”, “터치 스크린으로 편하다.” 같은 반응을 보였다. 주요 기능은 ▲오실로스코프 입력을 재구성할 수 있는 Flex Channel 4개, 6개, 또는 8개 제공 ▲15.6인치 HD 디스플레이 ▲직관적인 UI 플랫폼과 터치 디스플레이 ▲12비트 ADC 및 수직 해상도 16비트 ▲옵션 Window OS다.

ATEN Korea Hosts UI Icon Design Contest
에이텐코리아가 ATEN 콘트롤 시스템(Control System) UI 아이콘 공모전을 개최한다고 밝혔다. 2회차 ATEN UI 디자인 아이콘 공모전은 더욱 편리한 사용 환경 구축을 위한 행사로 응모작 가운데 최종 선정된 당선작은 ATEN 제품의 공식 UI 디자인으로 업데이트할 예정이다. 아울러 선정된 UI 작품이 ATEN이 진출한 각 나라별 국민정서와 부합할 경우에는 ATEN 본사를 포함 타 국가에서 출시되는 제품까지 폭넓게 적용하는 등 제품의 가치를 높이고 조작성은 개선하는 목적에 쓰인 다. 특히 2017년에는 프로 A/V 전문기업으로 도약을 목적에 둔 ATEN 코리아의 전략에 발맞춰 컨트롤 시스템 앱의 접근성을 높이는 데 주효한 창의적인 UI 디자인 확보에 무게를 두고 있다. 지난 6월 19일부터 오는 7월 31일까지 총 7주간 진행되며, 참가신청서와 응모작품을 종합적으로 심사해 8월 말까지 최종 결과를 발표할 예정이다.

[오토모티브 영상취재] 마이크로칩, 커넥티비티 강조한 인포테인먼트 솔루션 선보여
오토모티브 일렉트로닉스 주최로 지난 5일 열린, 오토모티브 이노베이션데이 2017에 참가한 마이크로칩은 USB허브, 카 인포테인먼트 애플리케이션 솔루션을 선보였다. High Speed USB 2.0 허브는 카플레이로 바로 진입할 수 있게 도와주는 역할을 한다. 일반전인 USB 통신은 호스트와 슬레이브로 되어 있다. iOS나 안드로이드가 카 인포테인먼트에 들어오면서 스마트폰 자체가 호스트가 되고 헤드유닛은 디바이스가 된다. 이런 경우 호스트와 호스트는 USB가 연결할 수 없기 때문에 그것을 허브가 대신해 주는 것이다.

Xilinx showcased reVISION, which features immediate system response speed and is suited for markets requiring rapid deployment of algorithms and sensors. The reVISION stack facilitates the development of intelligent vision-based systems including machine learning, computer vision, and sensor fusion. It supports the most commonly used neural networks such as AlexNet, GoogLeNet, SqueezeNet, SSD, and FCN.
