Limelight Hosts Seminar on Cyber Security Attack Response

Limelight Networks announced that it will hold an online seminar titled '2017 Cyber Security Threat and Defense Strategies' on Thursday, July 20, to introduce countermeasures against cyber security attacks for the protection of digital assets to corporate security managers.
The 2017 Cyber Security Threats and Defense Strategies (Top Cyber Security Risks in 2017 and Best Practices for Defense) seminar is an online live broadcast of an offline customer invitation event held at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Samseong-dong on the 20th, and will run for three hours from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The main contents of this seminar include: ▲ an introduction to 'Cyber threat trend in Korea 2017' by Park Dae-sung, Country Manager of Limelight Networks Korea; ▲ 'Security Threats Facing Complex Web Businesses' presented by Laurent Gil, Founder and CPO, and Joshua Roza, General Sales Manager, of the cloud-based security solution company Zenedge (www.zenedge.com); and ▲ 'A Layered Defense for Digital Application and Asset Security' presented by Ryan Jeffs, Senior Product Manager at Limelight Networks.It proceeds in the order of 'r Safeguarding Digital Applications and Assets', etc.
Park Dae-sung, General Manager of Limelight Networks Korea, stated, “Corporate damage caused by cyber attacks, including various botnets, DDoS attacks, and ransomware, is occurring daily not only globally but also in Korea. Above all, cyber attacks are becoming more sophisticated and complex, and as attacks continue to take place through smartphone apps and web browsers, they are constantly plaguing corporate security managers.” He added, “In response, we plan to present optimal solutions by conducting online and offline seminars with the industry’s top cloud cybersecurity experts on cyber attack trends and the best ways to protect businesses from these attacks.”

Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
Databricks entered the security market on March 24 by unveiling LakeWatch, an open-source agentic SIEM. The core functionality of this product is to integrate and analyze security, IT, and business data in a single environment to support AI-based threat detection and investigation. The company explained that it reduces the limitations of existing security operations centers, which have had to forgo some data due to high cost structures, and enables large-scale data analysis and automation based on open formats and ecosystems. LakeWatch is currently offered as a private preview, with Adobe and Dropbox mentioned as early customers. Databricks also announced an expanded partnership with Anthropic as well as the acquisition of Antimatter and SiftD.ai.
