LG U+ announced that it will introduce 'pet IoT' that takes care of pets left alone at home.

'Pet IoT' is an officially recommended product by the Seoul Veterinary Association, and is provided as a package including a home CCTV mini, IoT plug, and IoT switch.

The package allows pet owners to check on their pets left behind on their smartphones after they leave the house. It also features two-way voice calling, allowing owners to speak to their pets. It also allows owners to turn lights, air conditioning, fans, and audio on and off.



In particular, the Home CCTV Mini has ▲two-way voice calls that allow you to freely talk to your dog while watching videos on your smartphone ▲a 142-degree wide-angle camera that minimizes blind spots in the house ▲supports 128GB of SD card capacity, allowing you to store up to 50 days of videos and set up scheduled recordings. It can be easily mounted on a table, wall, or ceiling without a separate bracket.

The Home CCTV Mini, which supports up to 4x digital zoom with 2 million pixel full HD picture quality, can set and schedule intrusion detection time zones, so that it can send text notifications as soon as motion is detected, and automatically save video for 20 seconds before and after detection to the U+ Box cloud.
U+ Internet is available for 8,800 won (VAT included) per month without the need for a separate terminal purchase fee. Third-party internet providers cost 11,000 won (VAT included). Goladam IoT is available for 5,500 won (VAT included).
