The LG G6's smaller, more affordable Q6 to be released in August.

LG Electronics unveiled the LG Q6, the first smartphone in the Q series.
The LG Q6 inherits the design and features of the LG G6 while lowering its price. The Q series is a semi-premium smartphone priced in the 500,000 won range. The LG Q6+, with increased RAM and internal storage (ROM), was also released. The LG Q6 comes with 3GB and 32GB of RAM, while the LG Q6+ comes with 4GB and 64GB of storage.
The release date is August in Korea, followed by sequential releases in North America, Central and South America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East and Africa.
The LG Q6 features the FullVision display featured on the G6. Measuring 142.5mm x 69.3mm x 8.1mm and weighing 149g, it boasts a 5.5-inch screen with an 18:9 aspect ratio, making it easy to hold in one hand. The rounded corners and curved edges provide a comfortable grip.
The metal frame on the side is made of lightweight and durable AL7000 series aluminum material used in aircraft, yachts, etc.
The front camera is a wide-angle camera with a 100-degree field of view, allowing up to seven to eight people to take selfies together. The 13-megapixel rear camera offers a variety of aspect ratios, including 1:1, 4:3, 16:9, and 18:9. It supports GIF mode, which allows you to create moving pictures by taking up to 100 pictures continuously, and a mode dedicated to food photography.
It also has various convenient features, such as a facial recognition function that unlocks the screen and an FM radio function that allows you to listen to FM radio without a separate app.
“The LG Q6 will showcase the essence of a new premium smartphone that allows users to enjoy premium features at an attractive price,” said Cho Jun-ho, President and Head of LG Electronics’ Mobile Communications Business Division.

LG유플러스, 새로운 G6플러스·G6 32G 출시
LG유플러스는 G6의 새로운 시리즈 ’G6플러스’와 ‘G6 32GB’를 출시했다고 밝혔다. LG전자의 G6플러스는 내장 메모리 용량을 128GB로 기존 G6의 2배로 늘렸다. 또한 G시리즈 최초로 무선충전 기능이 탑재됐다. G6플러스는 ‘하이파이 쿼드 덱(Hi-Fi Quad DAC)’을 즐길 수 있는 B&O(뱅앤올룹슨) 플레이 번들 이어폰이 제공되며, 색상은 옵티컬 아스트로블랙, 옵티컬 마린 블루, 옵티컬 테라 골드 총 3가지로 출시된다.
