SKT Launches Galaxy A7, an SK-Exclusive Phone Supporting Samsung Pay and Bixby Home
Published2017.07.12 14:45SK Telecom is exclusively launching the Galaxy A7 (2017 model, hereinafter Galaxy A7), a 5.7-inch large-screen smartphone priced in the 500,000 won range, and will begin accepting pre-orders at official authorized dealers and the online store T World Direct starting on the 12th.
The Galaxy A7 offers a 5.7-inch large screen display, 16-megapixel front and rear cameras, the largest 3,600mAh battery in the Galaxy series (supports fast charging), Samsung Pay, Bixby Home support, and a 'Secure Folder' protected by fingerprint information.
It will be released in Black Sky, Gold Sand, and Peach Cloud colors.
SK Telecom is expanding the range of device choices for customers by building a full Galaxy lineup, starting with the exclusive launch of the 'Galaxy A7' and successively introducing everything from high-end flagship smartphones like the Galaxy S8 to the Galaxy A7 in the 500,000 won range, the Galaxy J5 in the 300,000 won range, and the Galaxy Wide 2 in the 200,000 won range.
Kim Sung-soo, Head of SK Telecom’s Smart Device Division, stated, “With the increasing number of customers seeking flagship smartphone features at a reasonable price, we have launched the ‘Galaxy A7 (2017)’ in partnership with Samsung Electronics,” adding, “Based on an exclusive phone available only at SK Telecom, we [are offering] differentiated benefits to customers"We will continue to strengthen our diverse lineup of practical smartphones that offer tags," they stated.

SK텔레콤이 갤럭시 노트7의 디자인과 기능은 유지하면서 지능형 인터페이스 '빅스비 홈'·'빅스비 리마인더'를 적용한 '갤럭시 노트 FE(Fan Edition)를 SK텔레콤 공식인증대리점과 온라인몰 T월드다이렉트에서 7일부터 판매한다고 밝혔다. ‘갤럭시 노트 FE’의 출고가는 69만 9,600원이고, 색상은 '골드 플래티넘', '실버 티타늄', '블루 코랄', '블랙 오닉스' 등 4가지 색상으로 출시된다.

LG Electronics unveiled the LG Q6, the first smartphone in the Q series. The LG Q6 inherits the design and convenience features of the LG G6 while offering a lower price point. The Q series is positioned as a semi-premium smartphone in the 500,000 won range. The LG Q6+, which features increased RAM and internal storage capacity (ROM), was also launched simultaneously. The LG Q6 comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, while the LG Q6+ is equipped with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The launch is scheduled for August in Korea, with sequential rollouts planned for North America, Central and South America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East and Africa.
