Telit announced the launch of the ultra-slim smart antenna GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) receiver module 'SL876Q5-A'.

The fully integrated 'SL876Q5-A' module provides comprehensive key functions that eliminate the need for additional components and complies with industry regulations and standards. By offering an optimal solution for IoT projects with constraints on application size, development cost, and time, it reduces the development burden for developers with little to no RF design experience.

This module combines a low-profile omnidirectional built-in antenna with an internal RF switch. It is suitable for applications where two antennas—a main antenna and a backup antenna—are essential to handle signal loss, such as personal trackers or alarms.
