Completed signage sculpture with 70 55-inch panels

LG Electronics has installed a large OLED signage at Ambience Mall, a shopping mall in Gurgaon, India. This marks the first time OLED signage has been installed in India.

LG Electronics has created a magnificent and aesthetically pleasing signage installation, measuring 6 meters wide and 5.7 meters high, utilizing 70 55-inch flexible OLED signage panels. The upper section of this OLED signage consists of two circular bands of OLED signage, allowing for 360-degree viewing, while the lower section features a three-sided curved video wall.

OLED signage lacks a backlight, making it thinner and easier to produce curved displays than LCD signage. It can display color on a pixel-by-pixel basis or completely turn it off to achieve infinite contrast. Furthermore, its wide viewing angle ensures accurate color reproduction from any viewing position. This makes it ideal for commercial spaces like busy stores, lobbies, and shopping malls.

Kim Ki-wan, Vice President and Head of LG Electronics India, said, “This project is significant in that it has established a bridgehead for LG Electronics to expand its OLED signage market,” and emphasized, “We will establish ourselves as the number one national brand in the Indian commercial signage market in the future.”
