KT uses water slides and water drones as water cannons at the baseball stadium

KT poured water from the sky above the baseball stadium. The 5G Water Festival, which began on Saturday the 29th, will be held every weekend at Suwon KT Wiz Park until Sunday, August 20th. A 45-meter-long water slide extends from the outfield 5G Zone to the cheering stand, and water cannons are fired from water drones whenever a home run, run, or hit occurs.



Following last year's GiGA Collabo Festival, the 'KT 5G Land' event will be held at Haeundae Beach for three days starting August 11. A 5G Pyeongchang Ice Rink will be set up in the midsummer sea to showcase 360-degree VR and interactive time-slice technology. Inside a massive dome tent, an artificial ice rink will be constructed, allowing visitors to enjoy winter sports in advance while experiencing 5G communication technologies and services.

On the 12th, the 'KT 5G Drone Racing Korea Masters' will be held at a special arena on Haeundae Beach. In this competition, 16 top-ranked domestic drone racing athletes, including Kim Min-chan of KT GiGA5 who holds the record for winning the World Drone Racing Championship, will compete for a total prize of 10 million won.

Prior to the drone racing competition, a Safety drone capable of detecting heat and rescuing lives anywhere—whether at sea, in mountains, or in cities—and an Artificial Intelligence (AI) drone that operates autonomously without a pilot will be demonstrated. Additionally, the event will showcase 'HADO,' a Mixed Reality (MR) sport, and host a customer experience event.



LG Electronics announced that it is holding a cashback event with Shinhan Card under the theme "LG Pay Gives You a Cool Shot!" Customers who pay for admission tickets of 10,000 won or more using LG Pay at major water parks and aquariums nationwide during the month of August will receive 5,000 My Shinhan Points.

This event applies at Gonjiam Resort Family Spa, Elysian Gangchon Resort Outdoor Swimming Pool, Seorak Waterpia, Pororo Aqua Village, and Aqua Planet, and can be combined with other Shinhan Card events. Points are provided once per person.

In addition, LG Electronics, in partnership with Korea Smart Card, will provide 1,500 T-Mileage points to customers who make a payment of 3,000 won or more using the T-money transportation card integrated into LG Pay from August 1 to 10. Customers using Mobile T-money for the first time can participate once per person. From August 4 to 31, customers making their first payment of 10,000 won or more via LG Pay using a Lotte Card will receive 5,000 L.Point points.
