The element14 community, an online network for engineers, manufacturers, inventors, and others driving innovation in manufacturing, has surpassed 500,000 members.

The oldest community of its kind in the electronics industry, element14 Community, was launched in 2009 by electronics retailer Premier Farnell as part of its effort to connect more closely with its customers. The community has rapidly evolved, introducing new programs and content to better meet the interests and needs of innovation leaders in the electronics industry.

Overall engagement with the Element14 community has grown by more than 20% year over year, and there have been years where membership has grown by more than 50%, according to Dianne Kibbey, PremierPanel's Global Community and Social Media Team Leader.

The element14 community offers a variety of benefits to its members. Over 500,000 engineers, manufacturers, and other members have access to an online forum where they can exchange ideas, collaborate, and seek advice whenever they encounter difficult challenges, ensuring unbiased answers at any time. Furthermore, members have access to the Design Center, which provides access to the latest development tools, technical information and discussions from suppliers, and live chat with customer support via webinars.
