Exhibition Items Expanded from IT Accessories to Internet of Things Devices

KITAS, an IT accessories and peripheral devices exhibition, expanded its exhibition items and held its first show under the new name "Smart Device Show."

Marking its 7th edition this year, the exhibition will be held for 3 days from the 10th to 12th at Samsung COEX Hall B under the theme "FUTURE UNLIMITED."

The main exhibition items consist of mobile accessories/ computer peripherals/ wearable devices/ smart mobility/ personal audio/ smart sensors/ drones/ smart healthcare devices/ VR devices/ artificial intelligence devices/ smart car devices/ Internet of Things devices/ and 3D printing.

MONIT introduced a smart baby care sensor that detects diaper conditions and distinguishes between urination and defecation, along with a hub that measures air quality. The diaper sensor contains temperature and humidity sensors and is attached to the diaper for use. When not being used as a diaper sensor, inserting it into the hub activates the built-in gas sensor to detect surrounding air quality and provides alerts when abnormalities occur.

AFTERSHOKZ unveiled bone conduction earphones. Bone conduction technology transmits sound through the cheekbone by generating small vibrations in the headset. Since sound is delivered directly into the ear without passing through the eardrum, it can prevent noise-induced hearing loss from earphone use, and has the advantage of allowing users to listen to high-quality music while remaining aware of their surroundings. It enables continuous playback for up to 6 hours on a single charge.

OneWheel showcased the Halo city. It is an electric scooter that can be rapidly converted to a folded state with just two movements. It is capable of traveling up to 35km and can be fully charged with a 3-hour charging time. It features 10-inch wheels and weighs 15kg.

Buff-Up, launched by 202BPM, is a smart indoor exercise equipment where a smartphone becomes a personal trainer. Various modules can be combined to enable multiple types of exercises, workout schedules can be managed through a smartphone app, and exercise coaching and push-up counting are provided via video and voice, allowing users to enjoy indoor workouts with their smartphone functioning as a personal trainer.

Smart Medical Device allowed visitors to experience its personal low-frequency stimulator. Dr.music3 is a wireless stimulator that provides massage synchronized to music. It connects with a smartphone via Bluetooth, allowing the smartphone to be used as a remote control. With 33 levels of precise intensity, it can be applied to any body part where stimulation is needed. It features 3 modes including music sync, tapping, and kneading, with the ability to directly control the pulse type and intensity.


enomad unveiled a portable hydroelectric generator. As blades rotate due to water flow, electricity accumulates in a battery attached behind the blades. The battery capacity is 25,600mAh, and full charge is achieved by rotating the blades for 5 hours. It functions as a lantern and backup battery for outdoor activities such as camping and fishing. The product is scheduled to launch in September.

The Touchbeat Drum Game Kit introduced by WeForce Corporation allows users to play drums using specially manufactured conductive drum sticks and a kick pedal on smart devices, just like playing an actual drum. It requires no complex installation and can be used anytime and anywhere with just a tablet and smartphone. Users can learn drums through the included training app featuring rhythm game mechanics.

WiJet showcased the V-JET, which enables wireless viewing of Full HD video on large screens from various devices including TVs, PCs, smartphones, and beam projectors. The V-JET eliminates cumbersome cables through wireless connection between cameras and monitoring displays in beam projectors installed in large spaces such as conference rooms, lecture halls, and training centers, or in studios and broadcasting stations. A major advantage is that there is no need for complicated software installation and configuration.

In addition to product exhibitions and sales, various side events including 1:1 buyer consultation meetings with invited buyers and 1:1 investment consultation meetings with invited investors are also being held.
