The FLI7680, codenamed Newman Ultra, is expected to bring a major leap forward in the cutting-edge smart TV system-on-chip sector by delivering premium performance.

As the range of premium content expands, TVs must now support new-generation value-added services and ecosystems such as Google TV™, beyond first-generation broadcast and broadband-based services. The Newman Ultra architecture combines industry-leading performance with distinctive video decoding capabilities and delivers TV applications with remarkably responsive performance. This enables smart TVs to now combine multiple video sources and applications on a single screen.
