IPL's iGenie is a social robot for home services that integrates with an AI platform to provide convenient home services. It can be summoned from within 3-5 meters using a voice command, and searches for desired information, such as weather, date, time, and recipes. It can also be used as a personal assistant by scheduling appointments.

By setting a route in advance, it can move around your home and monitor its functions. Its functions can be operated remotely from outside. Its display allows you to play music, play videos, take photos, and make video calls. It also functions as a hub for controlling home appliances.

While users cannot set their own ignition words, they can choose from several. If multiple people simultaneously say the ignition words, the device recognizes sounds coming from close proximity. Currently, it supports Korean, English, and Chinese, with future updates planned. A full charge takes 3.5 hours and can last from 3 to 10 hours depending on usage. An automatic charging system automatically returns the device to its charging station when the battery drops below 30%.

The domestic release is scheduled for the first quarter of 2018, and promotions will begin on Kickstarter in October of this year.
