Recognition of extensive experience and leadership in the software field

SAS Korea announced the appointment of Oh Byung-joon as its new CEO, effective August 16th. Oh will oversee SAS Korea's business operations and focus on strengthening SAS Korea's leadership as an analytics company and driving new growth.

CEO Oh Byung-jun is an IT expert with over 27 years of experience in diverse fields, including data management, advanced analytics, data warehouses, and cloud computing, working for global IT companies and has been recognized for his outstanding business performance.

Prior to joining SAS Korea, CEO Oh Byung-jun served as Vice President of the Middleware Business Unit and Strategic Customer Business Unit at Oracle Korea, where he oversaw key accounts and demonstrated outstanding management leadership. Notably, he successfully developed strategic partnership models with major domestic corporations and spearheaded the acquisition of new customers across all cloud platforms, including SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS, achieving remarkable results.

Prior to this, he served as CEO of Teradata Korea and oversaw the Fusion Middleware and Technology Business Division at Oracle Korea. CEO Byung-Jun Oh, who began his career at IBM Korea, has worked in sales and consulting across various business areas, including data warehouse, business intelligence (BI), data mining, SOA, and WebSphere.
