Pure Storage Selected as Leader for 4 Consecutive Years

Pure Storage announced that it was named a leader in the Solid State Array (SSA) category of the '2017 Magic Quadrant Report' released by global market research firm Gartner.

Pure Storage has achieved rapid innovation over the past year. In October 2016, Pure Storage not only introduced a petabyte-scale model of its flagship product family, FlashArray//M, but also further strengthened its collaboration with Cisco by developing FlashStack Cisco Validated Design (CVD) for Citrix, Commvault, Oracle, SAP, and VMware to enhance the capabilities of the FlashStack converged infrastructure platform. The FlashStack solution is being deployed in thousands of countries across more than 30 nations and continues to grow at a triple-digit rate every year.

FlashStack customers span various industries including retail, healthcare, education, financial services, and service providers. Notable clients include furniture retailer Room & Board, Domino's Pizza, Texas Children's Hospital, and cloud service provider Secure-24.

In addition, Pure Storage continues to invest in enhancing its Evergreen Storage program, which includes the NVMe-ready guarantee program. Last April, Pure Storage announced FlashArray//X, the industry's first enterprise-grade 100% NVMe all-flash array.

In addition, Pure Storage announced FlashBlade, another flagship product that enables 75 blades to be operated as a single system, and is continuing its growth by deploying systems at UC Berkeley, Mercedes, and the earth science company ION.

Through various use cases in fields such as genetic engineering, machine learning, artificial intelligence (AI), and the Internet of Things (IoT), FlashBlade is supporting complex workloads and accelerating innovation.
