Wind River and Ohio State University Begin Self-Driving Car Testing
Wind River announced that it is collaborating with Ohio State University, the City of Dublin, Ohio, and the Transportation Research Center (TRC), the largest automotive research institution in the United States, to develop smart connected vehicle and autonomous driving technologies. Marques McCammon, General Manager of Connected Vehicles at Wind River, stated, "Ohio is an emerging hub for smart city and smart car technologies. This new collaborative model, in which academia, the public sector, and the technology industry participate jointly, will establish new standards for mobility innovation and serve as an opportunity to develop best practices in vehicle development and deployment. For autonomous driving technology to become mainstream, diverse collaboration and mutual consensus must be achieved, and this research is based on that premise." He added, "As software becomes the core of the automotive industry and automobiles also play an important role in our society, research on autonomous driving must be supported by comprehensive collaboration. In particular, Dublin is one of the regions in the United States where smart connected technologies are widely applied, and we expect to achieve meaningful results through this collaboration."

윈드리버, 항공전자 산업에 사용하는 ‘인증 증명 패키지’ 출시
윈드리버는 고신뢰성 임베디드 소프트웨어 플랫폼 ‘VxWorks 653 멀티코어 에디션’의 ‘인증 증명(Certification Evidence) 패키지’를 출시했다고 밝혔다. 윈드리버의 ‘VxWorks 653 멀티코어 에디션’은 항공전자 산업에 사용되는 IMA(통합 모듈형 항공전자, Integrated Modular Avionics) 시스템의 표준 규격인 ARINC 653을 준수하는 플랫폼으로, 싱글코어 실리콘 플랫폼에서 가능했던 기능들을 확장시켜 기존 소프트웨어를 재사용할 수 있도록 지원한다. 새롭게 출시된 ‘인증 증명 패키지’를 통해 항공전자 기업들이 멀티코어 시스템 인증에 대한 프로젝트 위험을 낮출 수 있도록 지원한다. 항공전자 기업에서는 COTS(상용) 소프트웨어 기술과 함께 ‘인증 증명 패키지’를 통해 신규 프로그램의 인증은 물론 재인증에 관련된 비용과 프로젝트 위험성을 현격하게 줄일 수 있다. 또한 엄격한 수준의 FAA(미연방항공청) RTCA DO-178C DAL A 멀티코어 인증 프로그램에 대한 배포 시간을 가속화시킬 수 있다.

Wind River Launches Virtualized Computing Platform to Support Telecom Operators' Needs
Wind River announced the launch of 'Wind River Titanium Edge SX,' a virtualized computing platform designed to support the requirements of telecommunications operators' edge computing applications. Titanium Edge SX is the latest product included in the Titanium Cloud portfolio, integrating control, computing, and storage nodes into a software package, enabling key requirements to be met with a single configuration on a low-cost physical server. Based on standard open-source software such as Linux, OpenStack, KVM, DPDK, and Ceph, Titanium Edge SX incorporates numerous enhanced features to realize the level of performance, platform management, security, and virtual machine (VM) lifecycle management required in telecom operator infrastructure.

SalePoint Signs Multi-Year Partnership Agreement with AWS… Promoting Identity Security that Integrates Even AI Agents
Sailpoint has entered into a multi-year strategic partnership agreement with AWS and is moving forward with establishing an integrated governance system that manages both human and non-human identities together. The plan is to consistently manage access permissions in an environment where AI agents are increasing as work execution entities, while applying the principle of least privilege and automated policy enforcement. The two companies plan to jointly expand capabilities to manage the identities of various entities, including AI agents, within a single layer in the AWS environment. This collaboration is interpreted as a move to design security and governance together in corporate environments where AI adoption is expanding.

Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
Databricks entered the security market on March 24 by unveiling LakeWatch, an open-source agentic SIEM. The core functionality of this product is to integrate and analyze security, IT, and business data in a single environment to support AI-based threat detection and investigation. The company explained that it reduces the limitations of existing security operations centers, which have had to forgo some data due to high cost structures, and enables large-scale data analysis and automation based on open formats and ecosystems. LakeWatch is currently offered as a private preview, with Adobe and Dropbox mentioned as early customers. Databricks also announced an expanded partnership with Anthropic as well as the acquisition of Antimatter and SiftD.ai.
