Providing program licenses, online training, events, and collaboration opportunities

Dassault Systèmes Korea announced that it has selected SG Robotics ( http://sg-robotics.com/ ), a startup specializing in the development and manufacturing of wearable robots, as the first company in Korea for the global startup support program operated by SolidWorks, a 3D CAD modeling application.

SolidWorks’ startup support program, designed to help startups realize their groundbreaking ideas into actual products through SolidWorks, is available to startups less than three years old that produce physical products designable with 3D CAD and do not currently own SolidWorks.

Companies selected for the SolidWorks startup support program receive licenses for up to three products from a total of 11 SolidWorks product families that support CAD, analysis, visualization, etc., from Dassault Systèmes for up to 12 months. In addition, through MySolidworks, you can receive benefits such as online SolidWorks program training, participation in and collaboration at various domestic and international SolidWorks events, and access to diverse technical resources.

SG Robotics, selected as the first recipient of this program, is a startup specializing in the production of wearable robots that develops 'WalkOn,' a wearable robot designed to assist walking for people with complete paralysis, and 'Angellex,' a wearable robot that enables walking without a special cane. The company is globally recognized for its technological prowess and potential, having achieved outstanding results in various international competitions and conferences, including placing 3rd in the world at the Cybathlon, the International Cyborg Olympics held last year; 3rd in the world at the UAE Robotics for Good held in Dubai this February; and winning the Best Start-up Pitch Award at ICRA, the world's largest robotics conference held in Singapore this May.
