Schneider Electric has expanded its Galaxy V-Series uninterruptible power supply (UPS) solutions for data centers and industrial applications, enabling efficient, high-density power protection for large data centers of all sizes.

With an extended power range from 500kW to 1500kW, the Galaxy VX provides complete versatility to meet high-availability requirements across a wide range of data center markets. This includes mid-sized and hyperscale data centers requiring higher power requirements. The Schneider Electric Galaxy V-Series platform was launched in 2014 as the Galaxy VM Series, followed by the Galaxy VX Series in June 2016.

The Galaxy VX solution features a modular distributed component design that expands power system redundancy and capacity in increments of 250 kW per unit power cabinet. Additionally, the Galaxy VX, with its dual I/O cabinets, enables internal power cabinet redundancy, eliminating the need to change I/O cabinets when upscaling power ratings.

Galaxy VX is an integrated suite of DCIM (Data Center Infrastructure Management) applications, fully managed through Schneider Electric's StruxureOn cloud-based remote monitoring. This approach enables enterprises to manage their data centers across multiple domains, providing actionable intelligence that achieves the ideal balance of high availability and optimal efficiency, ultimately driving business growth.
