Samsung Electronics combines cutting-edge smartphones and TVs to deliver the most emotionally resonant exhibition experience.

On the 23rd, Samsung Electronics will present 'The Frame,' which showcases the essence of lifestyle TV, at 'Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2017' held at Park Avenue Armory in New York, USA, displaying various artworks completed with the Galaxy Note's S Pen.

Park Avenue Armory, built in 1880, is a venue where diverse cultural and art-related exhibitions and performances are held, characterized by its vintage interior that allows visitors to experience history and tradition.

'The Frame' will display a total of 54 artworks from 13 artists including Abex, Nanni, and elmoghira who are active in PENUP, a social network service where people communicate by sharing images drawn directly with the Galaxy Note's 'S Pen'.

This exhibition utilizes 'SmartView,' a feature that allows Galaxy smartphone screens to be displayed on larger screens like TVs and monitors, and 'Art Mode' of 'The Frame,' which displays artistic works such as paintings and photographs even when the TV is off.

In particular, 'Art Mode' is an optimal feature for displaying artistic works by expressing the unique textures of canvases and frames that cannot be captured by conventional displays. Through an illuminance sensor, the screen adjusts based on the ambient light brightness and color temperature of the surrounding environment, providing an experience as if viewing actual paintings or photographs.

Meanwhile, 'The Frame' has been evaluated as a product that transforms a space into a gallery, elevating TV to the level of artistic works, and won the highest innovation award at 'CES 2017.'
