Telit announced the launch of the 'LM940', the world's first mPCIe (PCI Express Mini Card) module supporting LTE Advanced Category 11 (Cat 11).

The LM940 is an IoT communication module that supports optimal solutions for the router and gateway market and supports speeds up to 600 Mbps. The LM940 will be available for sale starting in the fourth quarter of 2017 after receiving certification from various mobile network operators (MNOs).

The LM940, the only module in the industry to support Cat 11 technology in an mPCIe form factor, features an integrated Qualcomm Snapdragon X12 LTE modem.
