Bang & Olufsen and LG Electronics Unveil OLED TVs at IFA 2017
Published2017.08.31 09:59Bang & Olufsen unveiled the OLED TV 'BeoVision Eclipse,' developed in collaboration with LG Electronics, for the first time at 'IFA 2017,' Europe's largest consumer electronics exhibition held in Berlin.
It provides stereo sound through a 3-channel Sound Center resembling a soundbar. The new product is equipped with six speaker drivers and six amplifiers supporting each driver, boasting a powerful output of 450W. In particular, connecting additional speakers enables a complete 7.1-channel surround home theater setup, allowing for an immersive audiovisual experience at home that feels just like being in a movie theater.
The surface of the slim glass panel extends below the sound center, and the sound center extends to both sides of the screen, completing an attractive design. In addition, the silently moving floor stand can be rotated up to 90 degrees to fit the user's position, allowing for perfect viewing angles regardless of where you are watching TV.
It is available in two screen sizes, 55 inches and 65 inches, and installation options include a motorized floor stand, a motorized wall bracket, or a manual wall bracket.

LG Electronics Unveils Premium Built-in Lineup at IFA 2017
LG Electronics will showcase a large lineup of premium built-in 'LG STUDIO' products at the 'IFA 2017' exhibition opening on September 1st in Berlin, Germany. LG Electronics has also more than doubled the exhibition area for built-in appliances (84 square meters) compared to the previous year. The company plans to imprint a differentiated premium image of 'LG STUDIO' to European consumers visiting the exhibition through its abundant product lineup. All 'LG STUDIO' products on display at 'IFA 2017' feature 'Black Stainless Steel' material. 'Black Stainless Steel' combines stainless steel with black coating, delivering a subtle yet sophisticated feel. Compared to conventional stainless steel products, it leaves no fingerprints and foreign substances such as sauces or oils are easily wiped clean, making maintenance simple. LG Electronics will display a diverse range of 'LG STUDIO' products, from large-sized products that are 1.5 to 2 times bigger than those previously launched in Europe—including a 30-inch wall oven, 36-inch cooktop, and 42-inch refrigerator—to a 24-inch refrigerator optimized for relatively narrow European kitchens.
