At IFA 2017, LG Electronics installed an OLED tunnel made up of 216 55-inch curved OLED signage panels. With 450 million self-illuminating OLED pixels, the tunnel projected images showcasing the wonders of space and the beauty of the deep sea.
LG OLED TV is demonstrating the perfect HDR video technology that only it can deliver. LG OLED TV perfectly reproduces various HDR video formats, including Dolby Vision, HDR 10, and HLG.
A transparent display model was installed to demonstrate the operating principles of the TwinWash washing machine and Styler. The TwinWash is an innovative product that, for the first time in the world, combines a "MiniWash," a top-loading washing machine, with the bottom of a drum-type washing machine. 'LG Styler' is a clothing management device that is a convergence of core technologies found in LG's major home appliances, including the steam technology of washing machines, the temperature management technology of refrigerators, and the airflow control technology of air conditioners.
They demonstrated an 'airport guide robot' that provides information such as boarding times and airline locations through screens and voice, an 'airport cleaning robot' that drives autonomously and cleans the floor, and a 'lawn mowing robot' that periodically maintains the lawn.

Bang & Olufsen unveiled the OLED TV 'BeoVision Eclipse,' developed in collaboration with LG Electronics, for the first time at 'IFA 2017,' Europe's largest consumer electronics trade show held in Berlin. LG Electronics Expands Smart Homes with AI and IoT
LG Electronics H&A (Home Appliance & Air Solution) Business Division President Song Dae-hyun held a press briefing in Berlin, Germany on the 2nd local time and unveiled the company's business strategy to lead the global home appliance market. President Song Dae-hyun stated, "We will focus on creating tangible customer value that smart homes can provide based on connectivity," and emphasized, "To achieve this, we will significantly expand the smart home ecosystem centered on AI (Artificial Intelligence) home appliances, IoT, and robots through continuous technology accumulation and open innovation." LG Electronics plans to expand its annual investment scale by approximately two times the current level by 2020 in order to significantly strengthen its smart home business based on AI home appliances, IoT, and robots, and also plans to increase related research and development personnel by more than 50% within three years.
