It is called 'Brain Composer,' developed by researchers at the University of Technology Graz (TU Graz). The experiment involved inputting brainwaves from subjects who possessed knowledge of musical composition. It is also possible to define tones and pitches. The researchers reported in the journal PLOS ONE that "all 18 subjects successfully performed demonstrations, and they can record melodies after completing short-term training."
