Established a diverse range of automotive products through the acquisition of SensorDynamics, a specialist in MEMS sensors.

On February 9th, Maxim Integrated Korea held a presentation to explain Maxim's products applied in domestic and international electronics sectors, categorized by sector. In particular, this presentation focused on Maxim's solutions for the automotive industry, introducing products currently under design as well as those the company plans to enter in the near future. Notably, regarding sensors, the acquisition of Sensor Dynamics, a specialist in MEMS, is expected to introduce a new key topic in the automotive product sector for the near future. Driven by the smart vehicle boom that began at CES 2011, most automotive brands are demanding more powerful and efficient systems. Consequently, the semiconductor industry is releasing a wide range of solutions for automotive infotainment, engines, batteries, electronic devices, and safety systems.
