Limelight Offers Free Cloud Storage Service Enhanced with Intelligent Collection

Limelight Networks announced a promotion for its high-performance cloud storage service, 'Origin Storage'.
Limelight is offering Origin Storage, a cloud storage service enhanced with the Intelligent Ingest feature that optimizes media file transfer over the network, free of charge for 60 days, including unlimited storage capacity and expert support. In addition, Limelight plans to ensure that customers can continue to use the service at a satisfactory storage price even after the free trial ends.
It is tightly integrated with the Limelight Orchestrate Platform and accelerates automated content replication and delivery through Limelight's global private fiber backbone.
Cedexis, an independent performance evaluation firm, rated Limelight Origin Storage as up to 92% faster than other cloud storage products. In Limelight's own tests, it showed results up to 200% faster.

Limelight Networks Releases Report on Consumer Viewing Habits
Limelight Networks released its annual "State of Online Video 2017" report, which closely examines consumers' changing viewing habits. The report was based on survey results from 4,000 consumers across France, Germany, India, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, the United Kingdom, and the United States, representing diverse ages, genders, and education levels. According to the report, millennial consumers worldwide are driving growth in the online video market. Additionally, viewers globally are watching an average of 5 hours and 45 minutes of online video content per week and are subscribed to one or more video-on-demand (VOD) services.

SalePoint Signs Multi-Year Partnership Agreement with AWS… Promoting Identity Security that Integrates Even AI Agents
Sailpoint has entered into a multi-year strategic partnership agreement with AWS and is moving forward with establishing an integrated governance system that manages both human and non-human identities together. The plan is to consistently manage access permissions in an environment where AI agents are increasing as work execution entities, while applying the principle of least privilege and automated policy enforcement. The two companies plan to jointly expand capabilities to manage the identities of various entities, including AI agents, within a single layer in the AWS environment. Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
Databricks entered the security market on March 24 by unveiling LakeWatch, an open-source agentic SIEM. The core functionality of this product is to integrate and analyze security, IT, and business data in a single environment to support AI-based threat detection and investigation. The company explained that it reduces the limitations of existing security operations centers, which have had to forgo some data due to high cost structures, and enables large-scale data analysis and automation based on open formats and ecosystems. LakeWatch is currently offered as a private preview, with Adobe and Dropbox mentioned as early customers. Databricks also announced an expanded partnership with Anthropic as well as the acquisition of Antimatter and SiftD.ai.
