One-on-one mentoring with technical experts and mission execution using ThingWorx.

PTC Korea announced that it is openly recruiting 'University Student IoT Supporters' who will experience the latest Internet of Things (IoT) technologies and next-generation CAD design and support the company's branding promotion.

Any student with an interest in next-generation CAD design and IoT, and a desire to explore new ideas, is eligible to apply. Preference will be given to those majoring in engineering, who will gain hands-on experience. The program is limited to 20 applicants, with applications open for two weeks, from September 25th to October 9th. Selected supporters will serve as PTC Korea supporters for eight weeks, starting in November.

PTC Korea's College Student IoT Supporters will experience the latest technologies and expertise through one-on-one mentoring from PTC-certified technical experts during their program. They will also be tasked with carrying out missions using PTC's new CAD software, Creo 4.0, for designing smart, connected products, and the IoT platform, ThingWorx. They will also participate in marketing content creation and branding activities through promotional support via blogs and Facebook.

Those selected as supporters will receive activity expenses and related supplies, as well as free access to paid events hosted by PTC. Furthermore, after the activity concludes, a final team will be selected and rewarded based on ranking. Individual members who excel in their activities will also receive separate awards. All supporters will receive a certificate of completion, and those who excel in this activity will be provided with a letter of recommendation for employment.

The selected university student supporters will apply various AR experiences to their designs, collaborate, and experience how they can be integrated with IoT platforms. This will deepen their understanding of the "digital twin" strategy, which is attracting attention from major companies worldwide, and enhance their job competitiveness.
