Schneider Electric Unveils Integrated Solution 'EcoStruxure World Premium'

Schneider Electric held the '2017 Innovation Summit Hong Kong' in Hong Kong, a global trade hub, from September 25 to 26.

This event brought together business leaders and experts from various fields to share ideas and solutions regarding the vision of the digital economy era. In-depth discussions were held on how the paradigm shift from existing systems to the integration of Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) through innovation hubs contributes to improved business efficiency and productivity. With over 1,000 attendees, including global clients, the event featured lectures by more than 50 experts.

At the recent Hong Kong Innovation, the 'EcoStruxure World Premiere' system was unveiled to the global market for the first time. It incorporates Schneider Electric's Internet of Things (IoT) technology and features a plug-and-play, open architecture. EcoStruxure provides end-to-end solutions across six specialized fields: power, IT, buildings, machinery, factories, and grids. We unveiled EcoStruxure for the first time, applicable to buildings, data centers, industries, and infrastructure.

On the first day of the event, Schneider Electric CEO Jean-Pascal Tricoire opened the official proceedings with a keynote speech under the theme "The Power of the Digital Economy." Other key speakers included Cyril Perducat, Vice President of Digital Transformation IoT; Alex Timbs, IT Head at Animal Logic; and Kevin Ashton. Additionally, Schneider Electric’s Innovation Hub, spanning 1,000 square meters, was set up at Hong Kong Innovation. This venue provided an opportunity to experience Schneider Electric’s advanced software solutions, and the latest network solutions from partners such as Microsoft, Accenture, Cisco, Intel, and Salesforce were also showcased.

Schneider Electric CEO Jean-Pascal Tricoire stated, “A new digital economy is emerging in all markets where the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, and digitalization are accelerating, providing companies with more efficient and differentiated opportunities.” He added, “Schneider Electric’s mission is to provide open and practical digital technologies that enable customers’ bold ideas driven by these changes and the digital economy.”

In addition, Schneider Electric is expanding the realization of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP21) sustainability agreement and the goal of becoming a carbon-neutral company by 2030 into a large-scale event. Schneider Electric is investing in carbon reduction projects for all activities related to this event, ranging from air travel to construction, food, and supplies. These steps toward sustainability will be extended across all areas of Schneider Electric.
