Single SKU product supporting 24 LTE bands and 3G fallback

Telit announced that it is exclusively supplying its LN940 mobile data card, which supports LTE Cat 9, to the new S series of VAIO, a Japanese notebook manufacturer and retailer, and that it supports stable LTE-Advanced connectivity technology.

VAIO is launching laptops and notebooks equipped with the Telit LN940, supporting Cat 9 ultra-high-speed wireless internet at 450Mbps for the first time in the industry. The VAIO S series (S11 and S13), equipped with the Telit LN940 which has completed certification for major Japanese carrier networks, will be available for sale in Japan starting in late September 2017. Overseas sales and other certifications are scheduled to take place in 2018.

The Telit LN94x data card series is available in a 42mm M.2 form factor with an ultra-thin footprint. It supports GPS, GLONASS, and Beidou functions, and extends battery life by reducing power consumption. It supports LTE Advanced Cat 6, 9, and 11 technologies and enables carrier aggregation, providing ultra-high-speed mobile data performance.
