ASUS has launched the Rapture GT-AC5300, the first router designed specifically for gaming under its premium Republic of Gamers (ROG) brand.

Today's online games demand teamwork and precise player control, making it difficult to enjoy a perfect game due to unwanted network lag and control errors. The ROG Rapture GT-AC5300 is a premium router developed to improve this gaming experience, featuring innovative technologies that make gaming easier, faster, and more seamless.

In particular, it features the gaming technology and expertise of ROG, a premium gaming hardware brand. The ROG Rapture GT-AC5300 boasts high-speed Wi-Fi data transfer speeds and gaming-related technology, categorized as a gaming router.

It supports superfast tri-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi, eight Gigabit LAN ports, and two USB 3.0 ports for super-fast USB storage access. Hardcore NAS (Network Attached Storage) users can also utilize Link Aggregation (802.3ad) to combine the two LAN ports into a single, high-bandwidth port, achieving speeds of up to 2 Gbps.

The ROG Gaming Center provides a comprehensive overview of key network parameters, as well as game-related features like device connections, traffic statistics, and game server status. The ROG Gaming Setter allows you to easily control connected network settings, while the Game Radar feature displays real-time server ping speeds for selected games.

It also offers a three-level gaming acceleration feature for faster gameplay. It prioritizes all connected devices via two dedicated gaming LAN ports, while simultaneously reducing ping latency to provide a smooth, lag-free gameplay experience.

Additionally, it features cutting-edge security solutions certified by Trend Micro, providing gamers with an environment where they can focus on their game. Threats from outside the network are filtered at the router before they reach the device, and are filtered within the router itself even when security software is not enabled.
