February 27, 2012, Seoul – ANADIGICS, Inc. (Korea Representative: Kyung-Min Kim), a global leader in radio frequency (RF) solutions, today launched a new family of dual-band power amplifier-duplexer (PAD) modules based on its innovative third-generation high-efficiency, low-power (HELP3E™) technology. Combining world-class HELP3E™ power amplifiers with high-performance duplexers, ANADIGICS’ new PAD front-end module family delivers optimal RF performance and extended battery life while reducing device design and component complexity. This module reduces PCB space by 40% through the industry's smallest 3G/4G dual-band, featuring two independent RF paths in a compact 4.5mm x 6mm package.
John van Saders, Senior Director of RF Products at Anadigics, stated, “Customers continue to demand next-generation mobile devices with outstanding functionality and versatility. To meet this, Anadigics focuses on superior functionality, performance, and design.” He added, “Our new family of power amplifier duplexer modules provides RF benefits to manufacturers, and Anadigics’ PAD modules, combining industry-leading efficiency, linearity, and integration, extend battery life and minimize space.”
Anadigics' dual-band power amplifier duplexer module family uses its patented InGaP-Plus™ technology to achieve maximum efficiency at low- and mid-range output power levels, and this level of efficiency extends the lifespan of mobile devices along with low standby current. The internal design optimizes the power amplifier and duplexer to achieve excellent overall system efficiency and RF front-end performance.
