Digital Signal Control Performance Announcement of Stellaris® ARM® Core Cortex™-M4F Core-Based Microcontroller Supporting Interface Standards
TI Korea (CEO Kent Jeon, www.ti.com/ww/kr) February 27, 2012 – TI has announced Stellaris® Cortex™-M4F core-based microcontrollers (MCU) that support ARM's latest version CMSIS (Cortex Microcontroller Software Interface Standard) to enable developers to reduce design time. TI's StellarisWare® software suite and ARM's CMSIS library simplify the implementation of floating-point, SIMD (single instruction multiple data), and digital signal processing (DSP) operations, enabling developers to realize the outstanding advantages of Stellaris LM4F microcontrollers. Stellaris microcontrollers are an industry-leading 32-bit MCU product family based on ARM Cortex-M cores. This Stellaris LM4F (Cortex-M4F) microcontroller series is characterized by superior analog integration, floating-point performance, and the lowest power consumption in its class, and is suitable for various types of applications such as scanners, microprinters, home/building automation, AC inverter drives, and uninterruptible power supplies. Stellaris microcontrollers provide code and royalty-free libraries for application development, including StellarisWare software provided free of charge by TI, facilitating development work and reducing time to market. The software includes Stellaris peripheral driver library, Stellaris USB library, Stellaris graphics library, and Stellaris boot loader, all of which are pre-programmed into the ROM of Stellaris MCUs.
