Korea Agilent (CEO and President Kim Seung-yeol) announced on February 27 that it will provide the Agilent E6621A PXT wireless communication test set for SK Telecom's Hybrid Network demonstration at the Mobile World Congress 2012 held in Barcelona, Spain.
SK Telecom's Hybrid Network is a technology that enables ultra-high-speed services by using two networks with different technical standards and frequency bands as a single network, providing speeds equal to the sum of the speeds offered by each network.
SK Telecom plans to use the Agilent E6621A PXT as an LTE network emulator to reliably provide a test environment for high-speed data transmission rates in the LTE network as part of the demonstration configuration for the 'LTE+WiFi' service that enables ultra-high-speed wireless internet.

An SK Telecom spokesperson stated, "We were able to prepare for a successful hybrid network demonstration using the Agilent E6621A PXT, and the highly stable high-speed data transmission rate support capability provided by the Agilent E6621A PXT and convenient usage environment such as handover support between different networks were of great help in preparing for a successful demonstration."
