Intralinks announced on the 19th that it is launching the latest VDR platform that leverages artificial intelligence technology to reduce M&A transaction completion time and significantly enhances the user interface (UI) to enable M&A stakeholders to use VDR conveniently and easily.

The latest Intralinks virtual data room (Intralinks VDR) being launched can be installed within one hour and provides over 50% improved speed compared to the previous version during use.

In particular, through integration with artificial intelligence (AI) technology, the virtual data room can be opened, folders created, and basic contract analysis automated, thereby further accelerating the due diligence process. This enables M&A dealmakers to focus on more strategic tasks and facilitates the swift completion of transactions.

Key added features include △new user interface (UI) △enhanced Q&A environment △simplified document management with plugin-free information rights management (IRM).

Park Tae-jun, senior manager at Merrill Lynch Securities' Seoul branch, which is actively using Intralinks' virtual data room, stated, "The newly launched VDR is not only faster but also easy to use for first-time customers, enabling further reduction in time and costs required for the due diligence process."
