Cubicon and Sebang Industry Sign 3D Printer Business Cooperation Agreement

Cubicon, a specialized 3D printer subsidiary of Hyvision System, announced on the 19th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Sebang Industry for business cooperation related to 3D printers.
Based on a strategic partnership, the two companies agreed to cooperate in all businesses related to 3D printers, and as a priority, to establish a cooperation system for the development and sales of new 3D printing materials.
Sebang Industrial, an affiliate of the Sebang Group well known for its Rocket Battery, was established in 1971 and is the only domestic manufacturer of lead-acid battery separators, extruding, processing, manufacturing, and selling them. It is a specialized parts and materials company that manufactures and sells automotive battery cases through injection molding and is expanding its business scope from lead-acid battery components and materials to automotive accessories in general.
CEO Choi Doo-won expressed his aspirations, stating, “We expect to develop new materials capable of leading the market by combining our technological prowess, which owns the 3D printer brand ‘CUBICON’ boasting cumulative sales of over 5,000 units in 25 countries since its launch in 2014, with Sebang Industry’s technology in polymer processing and materials. We will not be satisfied with being the largest 3D printer manufacturer in Korea, but will do our best to establish CUBICON as a global brand through the development of various new materials and the expansion of our 3D printer lineup.” end.

CEVA Provides LG Electronics with Positioning and Cost-Effective 3D Camera Solutions
CEVA announced that it has established a partnership to provide its solutions for LG Electronics' smart 3D camera. The 3D camera module is configured with a Rockchip RK1608 auxiliary processor that includes multiple CEVA-XM4 imaging and vision DSPs. Through this, it can perform various 3D sensing applications including biometric authentication for facial recognition, 3D reconstruction technology, motion recognition, obstacle detection, and AR and VR functions. Computer vision experts from CEVA, Rockchip, and LG Electronics have not only implemented LG's proprietary algorithms on the CEVA-XM4 using CEVA's software toolkit and optimized algorithm libraries, but have also worked closely to ensure optimal performance even in power-constrained environments.

The key to spreading AI agents in the financial sector is establishing a trustworthy data system. KB Kookmin Bank is operating over 100 AI agents by 2025 and is promoting expansion to 300.
