Radvision (Country Manager Lee Min-woo, www.radvision.co.kr ), a specialist in integrated visual communications, announced that it has supplied its BEEHD video client framework to Quanta Computer, the world's largest notebook contract manufacturer.
Quanta Computer plans to develop LiveHD™, a UC application, using RadVision's BEEHD video client framework and integrate it into its mobile devices, including laptops and tablets. By providing LiveHD™, Quanta Computer intends to expand its service areas to enable customers to utilize effective and practical video conferencing.
The BEEHD video client framework supplied this time is a complete VoIP client and a solution dedicated to mobile and personal terminals such as laptops, tablet PCs, and smartphones. It provides seamless high-definition video over mobile broadband or Wi-Fi without packet loss using Radvision's unique Netsense technology, which overcomes instability caused by network environments. In addition, SVC technology can restore packet loss to the maximum extent to achieve the best video quality.
"Sajin Heusu, Deputy Director of the Quanta Innovation Center at Quanta Computer's Cloud Business Group, said, 'RadVision's BEEHD video client framework not only offers unique video client capabilities but also allows for flexible customization at the framework level, enabling Quanta developers to quickly and efficiently integrate RadVision technology into Quanta devices.'"
Amir Zomora, Product and Marketing Manager at Radvision’s Technology Business Unit, stated, “We are honored to collaborate with Quanta to bring LiveHD video capabilities to market. In addition to Radvision’s BEEHD video client framework, we will continue to strive to provide diverse and comprehensive solutions tailored to customer needs.”
