LG Uplus and Shinhan Bank announced on the 25th that they have decided to actively support the successful businesses of prospective entrepreneurs who are preparing to start a business.

Both companies jointly reduce the burden of starting a business for small business owners by providing benefits such as telecommunication fee discounts and preferential loan interest rates to customers who use both LG Uplus's 'U+ Boss Package' and Shinhan Bank's 'Shinhan Merchant Loan'.

LG Uplus offers discounts on telecommunication services essential for store operations and provides internet phones free of charge. Shinhan Bank offers a preferential interest rate of 0.2%P off the existing rate for loans to merchant business owners.

The 'U+ Boss Package' is a service that provides small business owners with essential communication for store operations. Shinhan Bank's products exclusively for small business owners include the Primary Business Account, Merchant Payment Account, Yellow Umbrella Mutual Aid, and Shinhan Merchant Business Loan, and customers who use these products receive the 'U+ Boss Package' rate discount benefit.

On this day, the two companies signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to support small business owners at the Shinhan Bank headquarters, attended by about 20 officials including Shinhan Bank Vice President Ko Yoon-joo and LG Uplus Corporate Business Division Head Gong Jun-il.

Shinhan Bank Vice President Ko Yoon-joo stated, “Through this agreement, we hope to continue discovering businesses that can lead to mutual development by cooperating and working with LG Uplus in various fields.”
