The Fortinet 361° Security Symposium is an information security symposium hosted by Fortinet in 10 cities across the Asia-Pacific region. It is an event that shares the rapidly changing cybersecurity environment and the latest technology trends.
Today, global companies are shifting their paradigms to achieve digital transformation (DX) in their businesses. To achieve successful digital transformation, they must actively leverage cutting-edge digital technologies such as cloud computing, mobility, social media, the Internet of Things (IoT), big data analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI). This requires careful consideration of various factors, including when and how to leverage cloud-based resources, the role of network automation and the IoT, the differences between operating an in-house IT department and leveraging managed services, and regulatory compliance.
For successful 'business digital transformation', security must be secured fundamentally.
This event showcased a real-time demonstration of what happens within a company when a cyberattack occurs in an increasingly sophisticated global threat landscape, including recent incidents like WannaCry and Petya, and analyzed the impact on various departments to introduce practical measures for effective response. Additionally, in-depth discussions were held through corporate case studies of IT vendors.
A Fortinet Korea representative stated, "In a business environment where cybersecurity threats are evolving by the day, this event provided our companies with an opportunity to gain insights applicable to their businesses along with the latest security technology trends. Fortinet Korea will continue to expand its reach with customers across diverse industries and provide them with a true end-to-end security strategy."

Cybersecurity is also a battlefield; domestically, there is no information sharing among relevant agencies.
According to reports from various agencies, the number of individuals engaged in hacking as their occupation in North Korea reaches approximately 6,800. Domestic related organizations include KISA, the National Intelligence Service (NIS), and the Financial Services Commission (FSC). At a forum hosted by National Assembly Member Yoo Seung-hee, the serious state of North Korea's cybersecurity was discussed. The Cyber Safety Bureau of the National Police Agency traced activities of North Korean personnel who accessed North Korean IP addresses to hack domestic systems. Jung Seok-hwa, head of the investigation division, stated, "Their work was similar to that of civil servants." They would come in during the morning, scrape media content, and collect information. They then sent malicious emails and phishing emails impersonating civil servants. These individuals primarily used portal site accounts, and there is a trend of gradually increasing the frequency of email transmissions.

Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
Databricks entered the security market on March 24 by unveiling LakeWatch, an open-source agentic SIEM. The core functionality of this product is to integrate and analyze security, IT, and business data in a single environment to support AI-based threat detection and investigation. The company explained that it reduces the limitations of existing security operations centers, which have had to forgo some data due to high cost structures, and enables large-scale data analysis and automation based on open formats and ecosystems. LakeWatch is currently offered as a private preview, with Adobe and Dropbox mentioned as early customers. Databricks also announced an expanded partnership with Anthropic as well as the acquisition of Antimatter and SiftD.ai.

사이버 보안 기업 티오리가 2026년 AI 바우처 지원사업 공급기업으로 선정됐다. 회사는 LLM 보안 솔루션 ‘알파프리즘’을 통해 생성형 AI 도입 과정에서 제기되는 정보 유출과 규제 준수 문제에 대응하겠다는 방침이다. 이 솔루션은 프롬프트와 소스코드의 문맥을 분석해 개인정보와 인증키 같은 민감정보를 식별하고, 단순 차단 대신 마스킹 방식으로 AI 활용을 이어가도록 설계됐다. 정부 AI 바우처 사업은 수요기업에 과제당 최대 2억원 한도의 솔루션 구매 비용을 지원한다. 티오리는 최근 포스코DX 적용 사례를 바탕으로 기업용 AI 보안 수요 확대에 대응할 계획이다.
