Building automation control engineers and industry professionals can use a valve and actuator selection tool in a simple and intuitive way to select the most suitable products for new buildings and the renovation of existing buildings.
Brandon Hay, Global Product Manager for Valves and Actuators at Schneider Electric, stated, "Schneider Electric possesses an extensive portfolio of valves and actuators comprising thousands of products. The traditional process of selecting these tools using printed catalogs and work Excel sheets during building projects is not only time-consuming but also prone to errors." He added, "The newly provided valve and actuator selection tool allows for quick and easy access to a wealth of information, ensuring the optimal specifications for Schneider Electric products for specific applications."
The valve and actuator selection tool is continuously updated in real time to allow users access to the latest product descriptions, data sheets, accessories, detailed specifications, and more. By using an intelligent application parameter calculator that subdivides product options and adjusts them to specific operating ranges, you can select the valves and actuators that best meet customer requirements.
Users can create optimized profiles and project details to easily reference their current projects, and can also upload company images and logos to submit optimal valve schedules to relevant companies. Additionally, valve schedules can be saved to be used as future project templates.

Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
Databricks entered the security market on March 24 by unveiling LakeWatch, an open-source agentic SIEM.
