Three major mobile carriers begin 'iPhone X' pre-orders on the 17th
Published2017.11.16 09:35The three mobile carriers will begin pre-orders for the 'iPhone X', scheduled for release on the 24th, starting on the 17th.
The iPhone X features an alluring front and back glass and stainless steel design with a beautiful 5.8-inch Super Retina display, the A11 Bionic chip with a Neural Engine for powerful machine learning, augmented reality, and immersive 3D gaming experiences, wireless charging, and Face ID, which provides an innovative, secure, and new way to unlock, authenticate, and pay.
The TrueDepth camera, which enables Face ID, brings Portrait Lighting and Portrait Mode to the front camera, allowing you to take stunning selfies with subject depth effects. In addition, it captures and analyzes over 50 facial muscle movements and then brings emoticons to life in fun and new ways, enabling the use of 'Animoji'.
Pre-orders can be made at KT stores nationwide, the official online channel KT Shop (shop.kt.com), the 'KT Shop' app, and via text message (#7878).
Pre-orders will be accepted from 9 a.m. on the 17th to 8 p.m. on November 23rd at SK Telecom’s official authorized dealers and the official online store ‘T World Direct (shop.tworld.co.kr)’, as well as KakaoTalk Plus Friends ‘SK telecom’, ‘T World Direct’, and ‘i Talk’.
LG Uplus is launching the 'iPhone X Price Guarantee Program (12-Month and 18-Month Types),' which guarantees up to 50% and 40% of the retail price to iPhone X customers who return their device after 12 or 18 months and upgrade to a newly released iPhone series.
Customers who purchase the iPhone X through LG Uplus’ official online store, ‘U+Shop,’ can receive an additional 7% discount on usage fees in addition to the official subsidy or selective contract discount.

이통 3사, 아이폰8 정식 출시 행사 열어
3일 ‘아이폰8’ 시리즈가 출시되면서 SK텔레콤, KT, LG유플러스는 출시 행사를 개최했다. 이번 아이폰8 사전 예약 고객 분석 결과 20대 고객이 사전예약 고객 중 55%를 차지했다. 특히 10대 후반에서 20대 초반의 ‘1724 고객’의 신청 비율이 전체 25%로 나타나 아이폰에 대한 젊은 층의 높은 관심을 보여줬다.
