LG V30 Selected as the Best Gaming Smartphone by Nexon

LG Electronics has set up a large experience zone featuring 200 LG V30 units inside the Nexon booth at 'G-Star 2017,' which is being held at BEXCO in Busan for four days starting on the 16th. The number of visitors to the Nexon booth, the largest among the participating companies in this year's G-Star, reaches an average of 14,000 per day.
Nexon selects the best gaming smartphone at G-Star every year and unveils a new mobile game. This year, visitors can experience the new title 'Overhit,' which is set to be released on the 28th, in advance via the LG V30. Visitors to the experience zone praised the device, stating, "Equipped with a lightweight design and outstanding performance, the LG V30 is the most ideal gaming smartphone."
With a weight of 158g, the lightest among large-screen phones of 6 inches or larger, the LG V30 allows you to enjoy long gaming sessions without any burden. You can play games stably for a longer time with a large-capacity 3300mAh battery, proprietary algorithms and software optimizations to improve battery efficiency, and Qualcomm Quick Charge™ 3.0, a fast charging technology that takes only about 30 minutes to charge the battery to 50%.
In addition, the LG V30 features the latest Application Processor (AP), the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, and a design that rapidly dissipates internal heat, allowing users to enjoy high-spec games comfortably. It is also equipped with an OLED FullVision display that provides an optimal gaming environment with excellent contrast ratio and fast response speed.

LG Uplus Opens 5G Test Base Station in Gangnam
LG Uplus announced the opening of a new 5G experimental base station near Gangnam Station in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and has begun testing 5G technologies and services in real-world environments utilizing 3.5GHz and 28GHz frequency bands. LG Uplus announced the launch of 'U+VideoportalVR,' a mobile internet video (OTT) service, through Google Daydream, a VR-dedicated platform by Google. 'U+VideoportalVR' is a service that provides free VOD and 360-degree video content, as well as live channels available from U+Videoportal, a mobile TV service, all for free in a virtual space.
